Gone Artsy December Design Team Project

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog :)  Today I have made for inspiration a small wreath.
This was so simple and no glue involved! I started with a 6 inch foam wreath shape. I then wrapped completely in the white trim ruffle with attached pearl.I pinned these at beginning and end. I next added four of the pearl and rhinestone hearts and four of the white bows with pearl heart centers. The birds and dangle came fro my own stash. I pinned all item with u shaped small pins. You could glue if you would like. I pinned because if you make several of these for a wedding or party you can save the items and use them for something else at another event. I hope you have enjoyed my quick project. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

                November Project For Gone Artsy

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I have done a umbrella decoration for a wedding or party. I really loved doing this project and so simple :) I started with an umbrella of course. I then glued two Styrofoam rings together. I arranged my  flowers in a pleasing way to my eyes.  I added bling to most of my flowers of all sizes. I also added bling to every spoke of  the umbrella. I then added sparkled tulle to fill in around flowers for softness. I used rhinestone ribbon for the handle and added my bow with bling. Last I added a large tassel to the bottom and wrapped in trim to give it a finished look. You could make this decoration for any occasion, just pull out the styrofoam ring and add whatever flowers go with your party. :) I have a link to store and products used  below. Thanks for stopping by.

Gone Artsy November Project

My project was a blingy Pumpkin ! I used a beige Styrofoam pumpkin that had a splatter effect. I then put this beautiful lace all around the top. I added Miriam's flat back pearls to highlight each flower on the lace . I also added strands of bling to each crevice . I added artificial flowers to the top and then glued in Deb's beautiful brooch pieces to each flower. I glued on the square doiley from the store to keep it even and again used Miriam's flat back pearls. This project was so fun and so very easy to do. Stop on by the store and make one for your Thanksgiving table or a great gift for someone for the fall season.

November SteamPunk Project

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. This months theme is SteamPunk at Miriam's Crafting Supplies. Not a theme I have done very much, but I have to say this month was very enjoyable.

  • I started with a 5x7 canvas. I edged the sides with Tim Holts distress ink, Peacock Feathers.
  • I then used two sheets from the paper pad Grapic 45 Steampunk Spells. One for base and the smaller one for my main subject. I loved this sheet!
  • I started playing at this point, my favorite part :) I used Miriam's gears up two sides. On the larger ones I added tiny metal pieces to the top to give it extra dimension. I used her flat back pearls on some of the gears. I then used her tiny pocket watch as part of her necklace. I used her corner pieces on three sides.
  • I added my handmade lace flower to the empty corner.
  • I used  Tulip Beads in a Bottle to highlight her wings, necklace and bicycle handlebars.
All supplies except for canvas and flower came from Miriam's Crafting Supply and her pre-order sale. You will not find better prices anywhere and she has a large selection of charms and metal pieces that she adds to almost weekly.A very large color selection for flat back pearls and rhinestones. Please check by her store and have a look around :) Have a Blessed Day.

                        November Challenge Month
                                       Steampunk

I made this little gift card holder for my challenge project. I used Miriam's gears. I then added her key and glued a small clock on it. I also used her blue and green rhinestones for a little extra shine. Hot air balloon and light bulb charms were also added. Miriam has a very large selection of charms to use for steam punk or any other theme. I hope you enjoy this small project and please visit her store and see all the amazing things that she is adding almost weekly.

My Project For Miriam's Crafting Supplies

                                    Baby Girl Birdhouse

.         I loved working on this project !
I painted my birdhouse and then mounted it
on blocks and a large platform, Then the real fun began .
I used Miriam's beautiful pearls to outline the door
frame. I also used her metal pieces at the peak of roof and door frame. This just added a little extra dimension. I covered with lace and flowers. I found the little pick up sticky stick really helps to move these pearls from table to project. I covered three sides in the KaiserCraft Bundle of Joy paper collection. I used 3 pieces of the embellishments on the front. I added letters to my blocks . I spelled out Baby,Girl,Love and xo. To finish it off after everything else was done I added green pearls to the platform which really set off all the pink.

Gone Artsy

I went a little Tussy Mussy crazy ! The one on the left was made with a paper mache cone. I painted it and added lace underneath.
I then added a beautiful square doily from the store. I added the feather ribbon around the top. I then added my crochet flowers and topped them off with stunning bling centerpieces in each flower. I added a gorgeous Cameo that actually come in 5 pieces.
To finish it off I used a long dangle from bottom. I hope you enjoy. (:

The one on the right is a celebration of the Peacock ! I started it the same as the one on left. Painted and used the same beautiful square doily. I added a Christmas Ornament and added my favorite lace from the store. The lace is so versatile . I dyed it the color I wanted and cut it into the shaped pieces. The entire tail feathers are that lace. I added some crystals to the different spots on the tail. I added handmade flowers made from laces from the store and added matching bling to the centers. I glittered the bottom and added the long dangle.

Come on over and visit the store :) https://goneartsy.zibbet.com/

                                          Thanks for visiting ,

Gone Artsy Zibbet Store

                                                 It's Macabre Month

This project was a lot of fun to do !
I painted my platform and luggage black. I then did the Bride dress in white lace wrapped and fuzzy cut to fit around her. I dyed the same lace purple to decorate my arbor. This lace dyes beautifully. I then decorated with bats, skulls and spiders. I added a fence and lights. The entire outside of fence is decorated with the lovely black rosette trim from the store. this can be cut and used in so many ways including making another flower. I hope you enjoy and please visit the store. It is very unique in the fact she sales by 1/2 yard increments which allows you to get many different laces depending on your project size. Enjoy and share.

May 16th project share

Try This at Home Tutorial Friday
                  Coloring Metal

This project was so much fun to make. I started with a plain box and painted it with Martha Stewart Pearls: Mint Chip. Then, I Mod Podged Princess paper from Prima, added some lace and pearl trim, and then the fun began!

    To color your metal pieces:

First paint all metal parts with white gesso and allow them to dry completely. (You could also use finger nail polish or acrylic paint to cover metal.) I wanted a very pastel color so I used gesso first.

Then, paint them with the color of your choice. I used Martha Stewart Pearls. I also glittered the butterflies.

I used both small and large leaves. The flower center were ribbon buckles and flat back pearls. Some of the other centers were just pearls. Teardrop pearls were added on two of the flowers as                                                             accents.
