It is musical month at Gone Artsy :)
Today, I would like to share with you a different approach to the traditional throwing of rice or bird seed. In a lot of places this time of year the ground is frozen and rice is slippery; birds have gone to warmer climates. I created decorated tambourines to shake and make percussive music with. These are so inexpensive to buy! I purchased mine from Amazon (3 for under $20.00). I then decorated them with beautiful seam bindings, laces and doilies from the store. You can use whatever color you like as the store has a very large variety of colors. You can cut laces down the center to whatever width you like. This was a very easy project and I really like how they turned out, even if only to be used as a wall decoration! Thank you so much for stopping by and spending your time with me.
