                November Project For Gone Artsy

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I have done a umbrella decoration for a wedding or party. I really loved doing this project and so simple :) I started with an umbrella of course. I then glued two Styrofoam rings together. I arranged my  flowers in a pleasing way to my eyes.  I added bling to most of my flowers of all sizes. I also added bling to every spoke of  the umbrella. I then added sparkled tulle to fill in around flowers for softness. I used rhinestone ribbon for the handle and added my bow with bling. Last I added a large tassel to the bottom and wrapped in trim to give it a finished look. You could make this decoration for any occasion, just pull out the styrofoam ring and add whatever flowers go with your party. :) I have a link to store and products used  below. Thanks for stopping by.

Gone Artsy November Project

My project was a blingy Pumpkin ! I used a beige Styrofoam pumpkin that had a splatter effect. I then put this beautiful lace all around the top. I added Miriam's flat back pearls to highlight each flower on the lace . I also added strands of bling to each crevice . I added artificial flowers to the top and then glued in Deb's beautiful brooch pieces to each flower. I glued on the square doiley from the store to keep it even and again used Miriam's flat back pearls. This project was so fun and so very easy to do. Stop on by the store and make one for your Thanksgiving table or a great gift for someone for the fall season.

November SteamPunk Project

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. This months theme is SteamPunk at Miriam's Crafting Supplies. Not a theme I have done very much, but I have to say this month was very enjoyable.

  • I started with a 5x7 canvas. I edged the sides with Tim Holts distress ink, Peacock Feathers.
  • I then used two sheets from the paper pad Grapic 45 Steampunk Spells. One for base and the smaller one for my main subject. I loved this sheet!
  • I started playing at this point, my favorite part :) I used Miriam's gears up two sides. On the larger ones I added tiny metal pieces to the top to give it extra dimension. I used her flat back pearls on some of the gears. I then used her tiny pocket watch as part of her necklace. I used her corner pieces on three sides.
  • I added my handmade lace flower to the empty corner.
  • I used  Tulip Beads in a Bottle to highlight her wings, necklace and bicycle handlebars.
All supplies except for canvas and flower came from Miriam's Crafting Supply and her pre-order sale. You will not find better prices anywhere and she has a large selection of charms and metal pieces that she adds to almost weekly.A very large color selection for flat back pearls and rhinestones. Please check by her store and have a look around :) Have a Blessed Day.

                        November Challenge Month
                                       Steampunk

I made this little gift card holder for my challenge project. I used Miriam's gears. I then added her key and glued a small clock on it. I also used her blue and green rhinestones for a little extra shine. Hot air balloon and light bulb charms were also added. Miriam has a very large selection of charms to use for steam punk or any other theme. I hope you enjoy this small project and please visit her store and see all the amazing things that she is adding almost weekly.
